“GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: The US Forest Service (USFS) is seeking an Academic Institution to provide online (full) high school diploma programs for approximately 216 students dispersed among the following 13 Job Corps Centers”:

Riot, assault charges placed in Jacobs Creek Job Corps brawl (2007)

“…Charges have been placed against ten Jacob’s Creek Job Corps students, including one juvenile, arrested during a weekend riot.”

“…After arresting the two individuals involved, other residents of the same dorm became agitated, forcing the Sheriff’s Office to call the U.S. Forestry Service, Tennessee Highway Patrol and TVA agents for assistance in breaking up a brawl…”

Ten arrested in Job Corps brawl (2007)

Police in northeast Tennessee have arrested ten students at a Job Corps center after a fight broke out.

The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office says the incident is under investigation.

Sheriff’s deputies, U.S. Forest Service officers, Highway Patrolmen, TVA police and local constables were called to the Jacob’s Creek Job Corps Center to break up a fight in a dormitory yesterday afternoon. The brawl broke out after Job Corps officials stopped a fight between two boys.
